1. Nylon
Nylon is the first synthetic fiber in the world and is a name for polyamide fiber (nylon).

2. Polyester
Polyester fiber is a synthetic fiber obtained by spinning polyester formed by the condensation of organic dibasic acid and diol, referred to as PET fiber, which is a high molecular compound.

3. The difference between nylon and polyester is as follows:
(1) Appearance difference:
Nylon fabric has a brighter gloss and a smoother feel. The appearance of polyester fabric is darker and rougher than nylon
(2) Performance difference
Nylon generally has better elasticity, and the dyeing temperature is 100 degrees. It is dyed with neutral or acid dyes. It is less resistant to high temperatures than polyester, but
Its strength is better, and its pilling resistance is better.
The dyeing temperature of polyester is 130 degrees, and the hot melt method is generally baked below 200 degrees. The main feature of polyester is good stability. Generally, adding a small amount of polyester to clothes can help anti-wrinkle and plasticity, but it is prone to static electricity and pilling.
(3) Difference in combustion:
Nylon and polyester can be distinguished by combustion. After burning, polyester will emit strong black smoke, while nylon will emit white smoke.
In addition, the residues of the two fabrics after burning are also different. Polyester fabric will break into pieces when squeezed, while nylon fabric will become plastic.
