One of the primary differences between swimsuit fabric and regular fabric lies in the materials used to create them. Swimsuit fabric is specifically designed to perform well when exposed to water, while regular fabric is generally made for everyday wear in dry conditions.

Swimsuit fabric is commonly made from synthetic fibers such as nylon, spandex, and polyester. They have moisture-wicking properties that help to keep the wearer dry while also being lightweight and flexible. Additionally, these fabrics often contain a high degree of elasticity, providing a snug fit that enhances comfort and movement during aquatic activities.

Swimsuit Fabric Production Process

Production of a Prepolymer: This step is accomplished by mixing macroglycol with a diisocyanate monomer within a special type of reaction vessel.

Chain Extension Reaction: When the dry spinning method is used, this prepolymer is then reacted with diamine acid.

Diluting: Next, this solution is diluted with a solvent to make it thinner and easier to handle, and it is then placed inside a fiber production cell.

Extrusion: This cell spins to produce fibers and cure the elastane material. Within this cell, the solution is pushed through a spinneret.

Heating: These fibers are heated within a nitrogen and solvent gas solution, to form the liquid polymer into solid strands.

Twisting: The strands are then bundled together as they exit the cylindrical spinning cell with a compressed air device that twists them.

Finishing: Next, magnesium stearate or another polymer is used to treat the elastane material as a finishing agent.

Weaving: Once it is loaded onto a spool, it is ready to be woven into fabric.

Payment Terms

When we quote, we will confirm with you about the way of transaction, FOB, CIF, CNF, etc. After ordering, you need to pay 30% deposit before producing and 70% balance against copy of documents. The most common way is by T/T while L/C is also acceptable.

Packaging

Depending on the fabric type, fold or roll the fabrics neatly to minimize wrinkles. Use packaging materials such as moisture-proof plastic bags and sturdy cartons to ensure they fit snugly to prevent excessive movement.
