Polyester Lingerie Fabric Production Process

Creating a Monomer
The process of creating polyester fiber begins with reacting ethylene glycol with dimethyl terephthalate at high heat. This reaction results in a monomer.

Creating a Polymer
The monomer is then reacted with dimethyl terephthalate again to create a polymer.

Extruding

This molten polyester polymer is extruded from the reaction chamber in long strips, and these strips are allowed to cool and dry, and then they are broken apart in to small pieces.

Spinning

The resulting chips are then melted again to create a honey-like substance, which is extruded through a spinneret to create fibers.

Finishing

The resulting polyester filaments may be cut or reacted with various chemicals to achieve the correct end result.

Lingerie Fabric Care Requirements

Washer Setting & Temperature: Normal cycle, in warm water.

Dryer Setting: Permanent Press" cycle, or tumble dry low or cool.

Store with Care: Use drawer dividers or fabric pouches to prevent tangling or snagging. Avoid placing heavy items on top of lingerie fabric to maintain its shape.

Do’s: Wash lingerie fabric with like colored items.

Don’s: Avoid chlorine bleach, direct sunlight, hot water, and vigorous scrubbing

Payment Terms: When we quote, we will confirm with you about the way of transaction, FOB, CIF, CNF, etc. After ordering, you need to pay 30% deposit before producing and 70% balance against copy of documents. The most common way is by T/T while L/C is also acceptable.

Packaging: Depending on the fabric type, fold or roll the fabrics neatly to minimize wrinkles. Use packaging materials such as moisture-proof plastic bags and sturdy cartons to ensure they fit snugly to prevent excessive movement.

Shipping method: We usually ship goods by sea and air, and for neighboring countries, we can also ship by land.

Delivery time: A shipping confirmation with tracking number will be sent via email once your order ships. Expected time until delivery is currently 7-10 business days after order is placed.
